How Many Planets Are There?
There are eight recognized planets in our solar system:
- Mercury
- Venus
- Earth
- Mars
- Jupiter
- Saturn
- Uranus
- Neptune
You might notice that Pluto isn’t on the list. Pluto was considered the ninth planet for many years, but in 2006 it was reclassified as a dwarf planet by the International Astronomical Union.
Even though it’s no longer officially counted as a planet, Pluto remains one of the most fascinating objects in our solar system and is still included in this word search puzzle.
