Earth Day Scavenger Hunt Worksheet (Free Printable)
Earth Day scavenger hunt activities are one of the easiest ways to get kids outside while actually helping them understand why caring for the planet matters. Instead of just talking about recycling or conservation, this turns it into something they can see and do.
We’ve always found that kids learn more when they’re moving, exploring, and ticking things off a list, and this one adds a bit of purpose to it too. It’s not just about finding items, but noticing everyday habits that make a difference.
If you’re planning simple Earth Day activities, this is an easy way to mix learning with fresh air without it feeling like a lesson.

Scavenger Hunt to Play on Earth Day
We love scavenger hunt worksheets and try to use one for every holiday!!
In fact, we always try to play games or do fun activities while we are learning. This one, in particular, is also a great way to get the kids outside to explore our beautiful planet.
The environment is something that we should all take seriously.
Teaching your child about the importance of recycling will not just help them become an environmentally conscious adult.
But also give off a good impression for other people in society who might need encouragement when it comes to caring about our planet’s future!
For example, even a simple thing such as turning the lights off can make a difference.
This Earth scavenger hunt printable is different though. The kids are not just looking for items, but they have to do tasks also!
