Once you’ve generated a few powers, one of my favorite ways to use them is for character building. It turns a random power into a full superhero idea much faster than asking kids to come up with everything from scratch.

The weakness usually ends up being the best part, because it gives kids a problem to solve instead of making the character feel too powerful.
