We are on the next day of our alphabet handprint art series! This is aimed at preschoolers and is a great fun way to learn about the alphabet. I will be sharing a new handprint alphabet craft every day for the next 26 days! Today is the letter Y with our free yacht handprint template.
Every day I will also share any activities that are linked to that letter that I think you will also love.

This is such an easy and fun handprint craft and a great way to learn the alphabet. Kids love getting their hands covered in paint, and I have to admit I love it too! It’s so much fun allowing the kids to be creative while learning. Print out each letter and add them to their bedroom wall.
- washable paints
- dot markers
- glitter glue pens
- Wipes!! It helps to have these handy so you don’t make a complete mess of your table!
Print out the template below, it will print out on one full page and will print out landscape. Make sure to check the printer settings.
You can of course print this on normal printer paper, but with all of our crafts, they always look better on cardstock.
It will print out exactly as above but without the handprint. Grab the supplies above and get creating!
Let the kids decide what color handprint they want to use, paint their hands, and place them where the sail should be on the boat.
The kids can color in the letter and the sailboat.
The most important thing though is just to have fun!
