Craft supplies needed to create the handprint kite
- cardstock
- washable paints
- paint brush
- Wipes!! It helps to have these handy so you don’t make a complete mess of your table!
How to use the letter K handprint craft template?
Print out the template below, it will print out on one full page. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your emails within 5 minutes.
You can of course print this on normal printer paper, but with all of our crafts, they always look better on cardstock.
Let the kids decide what color handprint they want to use, we have chosen a light blue for our kite.
Use a small paintbrush to add a thin layer of paint to their hand. Make sure you have the wipes handy!!
Place their hand with their fingers pointing up to the sky, with their palm at the top of the tail of the kite. Press down all along their hand to make sure the handprint transfers fully.
Pull your child’s hand off really gently to avoid any smudges.
Let the paint dry completely before coloring in the letter K and the tail of the kite.
The most important thing though is just to have fun with this handprint art!
