There is a need for poetry that doesn’t make children feel guilty about eating turkey as food. We can be thankful for our food, turkeys nourish us, feed a large gathering of friends & family and are a symbol of gratitude. Our farming families understand the natural and normal connections between caring for animals to provide food for families. Just something to consider. Thank you for all the resources you provide.
