Free Deer Worksheets
These free deer worksheets give kids a closer look at an animal they may already recognize from forests, parks, and even their own backyard.

Learning About Deer
Deer have some fascinating adaptations, from their strong legs and hooves to the antlers grown by males of many species. These activities encourage kids to look more closely at how deer are built, where they live, and how they survive.
Parts of a Deer Worksheet
Start with the deer anatomy worksheet. Kids use the word bank to label the different parts of the deer before coloring the finished illustration.
As they work, talk about some of the features that make deer easy to recognize, including their hooves, large ears, slender legs, and antlers.
