Earth Day is a special day we mark on our calendars every April 22nd to learn about taking care of our Earth and all the plants and animals that share it with us.

It’s a time when we come together to do fun projects and learn about ways to keep our planet clean and healthy, perfect for our little preschool and kindergarten friends.

These 9 free color by number printable worksheets are for personal use and classroom use only. Scroll to the bottom of the post for the pdf file.

Each of the free worksheets needs between 3 and 8 different colored crayons to complete the hidden Earth Day picture.

Colors needed

To complete all 9 Earth Day color by number sheets you will need these 9 colored pencils or crayons:

  1. Blue
  2. Brown
  3. Green
  4. Pink
  5. White
  6. Purple
  7. Yellow
  8. Red
  9. Sky blue
  10. Light blue
  11. Orange

There are 9 different sheets to color, and each one uses between 3 to 8 of these colors. For little kids who can’t read the color names yet, you can help by coloring in the crayons at the top of each sheet with the right colors.
