What is Ramadan?
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Many Muslim families spend this time fasting during the day, praying more often, reading from the Quran, and focusing on kindness and generosity.
The month ends with Eid al-Fitr, when families celebrate together with meals, gifts, and time with loved ones. You’ll see many of these traditions reflected in the activities below.
