November Word Scramble Printable
This free November word scramble printable is a fun way to practice spelling and vocabulary while celebrating the fall season. With 12 Thanksgiving-themed words to unscramble, it’s a simple activity for elementary students at home or in the classroom.
I’ve included two versions to suit different abilities: one with a word bank for extra help and another without clues for children who want more of a challenge. There’s also an answer key to make checking their work easy.
It’s perfect for November morning work, classroom early finishers, or a quiet activity in the lead-up to Thanksgiving.

What’s Included in the November Word Scramble
This free printable includes two versions of the same 12-word puzzle, making it easy to choose the right level for your kids. Both feature Thanksgiving-themed vocabulary, large, easy-to-read letters, and plenty of space to write the answers.
Like our other word scramble printables, it’s designed to be printed and used straight away, with no preparation needed.

Two Versions for Different Abilities
- With a word bank: All 12 answers appear around the edge of the worksheet, giving younger children clues as they unscramble each word.
- Without a word bank: Children need to work out the words independently, making this a better option for older elementary students or those who enjoy a challenge.
- Answer key: A completed worksheet makes it easy to check answers without having to solve the puzzle yourself.
I particularly like having both versions available because you can give children the same activity while adjusting how much help they receive.

November Word Scramble Words and Answers

Shorter words like gravy and feast are a good starting point, while cornucopia, cranberry, and harvested give older children something more challenging.
