How to Use the Random Color Generator
Choose how many colors you want, select a color type, then click Generate Color. You can generate 1–5 colors at once or choose All Colors for millions of possible results.
For a more specific pick, filter by basic, primary, secondary, tertiary, neutral, or everyday colors. You can also turn repeats off when you don't want the same color selected twice.
Each result includes the color name, HEX code, and RGB value. Click Copy HEX to use the exact color elsewhere.
Types of Colors You Can Generate
The color randomizer includes several options depending on what you need.
Primary Colors
The three primary colors are:
- Red
- Yellow
- Blue
Secondary Colors
Secondary colors are created by mixing two primary colors:
- Orange = Red + Yellow
- Green = Yellow + Blue
- Purple = Blue + Red
Tertiary Colors
Tertiary colors sit between primary and secondary colors on the color wheel:
- Red-Orange
- Yellow-Orange
- Yellow-Green
- Blue-Green
- Blue-Purple
- Red-Purple
Neutral Colors
Choose the neutral option for:
- Brown
- Black
- White
- Gray
- Beige
- Cream
- Tan
- Silver
Everyday Colors
The everyday collection includes familiar shades such as pink, turquoise, teal, peach, navy, maroon, gold, coral, lavender, mint, indigo, violet, and forest green.
Or choose All Colors to pick from more than 16 million possible RGB colors.
