Free Easter Scattergories Game for Kids and Families
Easter Scattergories is one of our favorite holiday word games, and this free printable version makes it easy to play at home or in the classroom.
The set includes four unique game boards with Easter-themed categories, so everyone can join in without needing the original board game.

Easter Scattergories Free Printable Game Boards
This free printable includes four themed game boards designed for quick, no-prep play at home or in the classroom. It works for kids, teens, and adults, and doesn’t require the original board game.
What’s Included
You’ll receive four full-page Scattergories game boards. Each board features a different starting word at the top:
- FIND
- HUNT
- LAMB
- EGGS
All sheets print on standard 8.5×11″ paper with one board per page. There’s no cutting required, just print and play.

Printing and Setup Tips
Print each Easter Scattergories board on standard 8.5×11″ paper. Regular printer paper works well, but cardstock makes the pages sturdier if you plan to reuse them.
Give each player their own board and something to write with. Set a timer for 3–5 minutes per round, or extend the time slightly for younger kids or larger teams.
For classroom use, consider playing in pairs so students can brainstorm answers together before comparing responses.
How to Play Easter Scattergories
If you’ve never played Scattergories before, the goal is simple: fill in each category with a word that starts with a specific letter, and try to be the only player with that answer.
In this Easter Scattergories version, the starting letter is based on the word printed at the top of the page (for example, “HUNT” means all answers must begin with H). You won’t need a letter die or any extra supplies beyond a timer and something to write with.
How the Game Works
- Give each player their own Easter Scattergories board.
- Set a timer for 3–5 minutes.
- Players write one answer for each category that begins with the designated letter.
- When time is up, compare answers. Duplicate answers are crossed off.
- Each unique answer earns one point. The player with the most points wins the round.
Example Round
If the letter is E (from “EGGS”) and the category is Spring flower, possible answers could include:
- Easter lily
- Evening primrose
- Echinacea
The more creative (and uncommon) your answer, the better your chances of scoring.
