Printable Mummy Handprint Template
You probably have all of the supplies to make this fun little mummy handprint craft.
Supplies needed to create a mummy handprint picture:
- cardstock (or if you want to print it on colored paper we love this colorful cardstock)
- washable paints (these are the paints we use for all of our handprint crafts)
- paintbrush
- kids glue
- scissors
- googly wiggle eyes (Optional)
- Wipes!! It helps to have these handy so you don’t make a complete mess of your table!
How to use the mummy handprint template
Print out the template below, it will print out on three full pages and will print out landscape. Make sure to check the printer settings.
If you are printing on colored paper please only print the first page. The second and third pages are the Halloween stickers, and these will definitely look better printed on white paper.
This mummy template printable is free to print but is for personal and classroom use only. Scroll to the bottom of the post and add your email address to get the pdf file.
You can of course print this on normal printer paper, but with all of our crafts, they always look better on cardstock.
The first page is the mummy handprint template.
The other two pages are stickers that you can cut around and add to the mummy handprint art.
Grab the supplies above and get creating!
Let the kids decide what color handprints they want to use. We have chosen to have both hands red, but you could always do one in a different color.
Use a small paintbrush to add a thin layer of paint to their hand. Make sure you have the wipes handy!!
Cover their hands with paint and place their hands facing upwards at the end of the mummy’s arms. Press down all along their hand to make sure the handprint transfers fully.
Pull the child’s hands up carefully, ensuring you don’t smudge the handprints.
Let it dry completely before adding googly eyes and stickers.
Cut out the stickers and let the kids decide whether they want to add them to this picture or to another one.
The stickers will also look great on the trick-or-treat bags too.
