How to Use

Cardstock works best for crafts like this, regular paper tends to wrinkle with paint.

Let your child pick a paint color. We usually go with black for a zebra, but there’s no rule here.

Child’s hand being painted black with a brush, next to a small jar of black paint, prepared for a handprint craft activity. The hand is fully coated with thick black paint on a clean white background, suggesting it will be used for a creative project like the zebra handprint.

Use a paintbrush to lightly coat their hand. Place it on the page with fingers pointing down, palm lined up next to the zebra’s body. Press gently so the full handprint transfers.

Peel their hand off slowly to avoid smudging, then set it aside to dry.

Once the paint is dry, color in the zebra and the uppercase letter Z.
