Animal Color by Number Printable (9 free worksheets)
These free animal color by number printable worksheets are so fun for the kids.
They can be used when learning about animals, on a rainy day, learning about numbers 1-8, or just for fun.
I have put together 9 different color by number animal pages. These will keep the kids quiet for hours.
The animals we have included are the pig, horse, cat, dog, mice, cow, bird, rabbit & bear which all have between 5 and 8 different colors to use.
These worksheets are aimed at toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and 1st grade students. Each of the 9 worksheets will reveal a new animal.

There are 9 pages included in this free animal color by number printable worksheets.
- cardstock (copy paper will also work)
- Twistable crayons (or coloring pencils, you will need 14 different colors)
How to use the color by number printable:
Print out the animal worksheets below, they will print out on 9 full pages. Make sure to check the printer settings.
These color by number animals are free to print but are for personal use or classroom use only. Scroll to the end of the post to get the pdf file.
You will need 8 different coloring pens or crayons to complete this activity.
There is a color code at the top of each page. But to complete all 9 pages you will need the following 14 different colors:
- light green
- dark green
- light blue
- dark blue
- light brown
- dark brown

Rabbit Color by Number
To color in our rabbit, you will need 6 colors, light green, dark green, purple, pink, light brown, and dark brown.

Cow Color by Number
There are 8 different colors you will need to color in this cow. Dark green, light green, light blue, dark blue, black, pink, red, and yellow.
Cat Color by Number
The color by number cat will only need 5 different colors. Yellow, orange, purple, pink, and brown.

Dog Color by Number

Horse Color by Number

For the pig color by number, you will need blue, purple, orange, yellow, and pink.
Mouse Color by Number
Color in the mouse with 6 colors, orange, yellow, red, purple, grey, and pink.
Bird Color by Number
Color in the blue bird with 6 colors. Pink, purple, light green, dark green, blue, and orange.
Bear Color by Number
The color by number bear will use 6 colors. Green, blue, orange, red, brown, and light brown.
