Supplies needed for the free spring bingo boards

Before you start playing, make sure you have these things ready:

Setting up the spring bingo game

Setting up our spring bingo game is super easy and fun! Here’s how you get it ready for playtime:

First, you need to print the game. You can print it in color to make it super pretty or in black and white if that’s easier. While we think printing on thick paper called cardstock is the best because it makes the game cards last longer, it’s totally okay if you use any paper you have. You’ll see the game spread out over 6 pages.

The first 5 pages are your bingo cards. Each one is different, filled with cute spring pictures. If you want to play these games over and over, you might want to cover them with a thin plastic film using something called a laminator. This keeps them from getting ripped or dirty.

The last page has all the pictures and words for the caller to use. You need to cut these out so the caller can pick them randomly.

How to play spring bingo

Playing spring bingo is just as easy as setting it up:

  • Everyone playing gets their own bingo card. If you’ve got a big group, more than 5 players, some might end up with the same card, which can still be fun!
  • You can use dot markers, pens, or even stickers to mark your card when you see your pictures get called out.
  • Pick a caller, this person gets to draw the picture cards and announce them to everyone. For example, they might say, “Butterfly!” and if you’ve got a butterfly on your card, you get to mark it off.
  • Keep marking the pictures on your card as they’re called. You’re trying to get a full line marked off. This line could go up and down, across, or even diagonal. Remind the children that they can use the free space too!
  • When you get a line, yell out “Bingo!” as loud as you can!
  • The caller will check your card to make sure your “Bingo!” is right by looking at your line and the pictures you’ve marked.
  • If your bingo checks out, you win! If you’re all eager to play more, just set up the game again and maybe try for a different kind of line this time.

You can mix up the rules a bit to make the game more exciting or to fit the ages of the players. The main thing is to laugh, have loads of fun, and enjoy the springtime vibes with everyone playing.
