Saint David’s Day
One of the highlights of Welsh culture is St. David’s Day, a cherished national holiday observed every year on March 1st.

Caernarfon Castle is a medieval fortress located in the town of Caernarfon in North Wales. It was built by King Edward I in the 13th century and is known for its impressive architecture and rich history.
Wales has a lot of farmland, and for many years sheep farming was a major industry in the country. In fact, there are more sheep in Wales than there are people! there are about 10 million sheep & 3 million people.
Daffodils are the national flower of Wales and have been associated with the country for centuries. They are a symbol of spring and new beginnings and are often worn on St. David’s Day. You will also enjoy this fun picture book about the daffodil who couldn’t dance.
Wales has a long history of playing rugby and it’s a popular sport in the country. Many Welsh people follow their national team, the Wales rugby union team. With great passion and pride.
