Summer Bingo Printable (Free Bingo Cards for Kids)
Our summer bingo printable gets pulled out every year once school finishes.
It’s one of those activities that takes almost no effort on my part but still feels like something fun and different for the kids. We’ve played it at backyard get-togethers, on rainy days, and even while waiting for dinner to finish cooking.
With five colorful bingo cards and matching calling cards, it’s a simple way to keep kids entertained without screens.
The summer-themed pictures include everything from ice cream and sunglasses to beach balls and flip-flops, making it perfect for summer parties, camps, classrooms, or just a quiet afternoon at home.

Why We Love These Summer Bingo Cards
What I love most about this game is how flexible it is. Whether you’re entertaining one bored kid or a whole group of cousins, this summer bingo printable fits right in.
It’s designed with preschoolers through elementary-aged kids in mind. The pictures are easy for younger kids to recognize, but older kids still get into the fun (especially if prizes are involved).
It’s also low-pressure. There’s no scorekeeping, no prep beyond printing and cutting, and no mess to clean up afterward. Just simple, screen-free fun that works at home, at camp, or in the classroom.
You can get the free printable at the bottom of this post. It’s for personal and classroom use only.

Getting Started
Getting started is easy, and you really don’t need much:
- Print the bingo set. You’ll get five unique boards and one calling card sheet. I recommend cardstock if you want to use them more than once.
- Cut out the calling cards and place them in a bowl, hat, or container.
- Choose your markers. Coins, buttons, LEGO pieces, mini erasers, or even seashells all work.
- Pick a caller and you’re ready to play.
Before you start, decide on a winning pattern. You can play for a straight line, four corners, or a full blackout card. The caller draws and announces each picture, and players cover the matching space on their board. The first player to complete the pattern and call out “Bingo!” wins.
We sometimes add small prizes like stickers or popsicles, but most kids are happy just playing another round.

Why Bingo Works So Well for Younger Kids
One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that bingo keeps younger kids engaged without needing much explanation.
They’re matching pictures, paying attention, and practicing listening skills, but it doesn’t feel like schoolwork. It’s also a great way to introduce simple game skills like taking turns and following directions.
If you’re looking for an easy activity that works at home, in the classroom, or at summer camp, bingo is hard to beat. It’s quick to set up, easy to play, and simple enough that kids can jump right in.

Fun Prize Ideas for Bingo Winners
Adding a small prize can make the game even more exciting, especially for kids who love a little competition. Here are a few fun gift ideas that work well as rewards:
- Summer-themed stickers
- Fidget toys
- Funky sunglasses
- One of our favorite summer books
You can find lots of affordable options on Amazon or at your local dollar store, just something small to make it feel special.

If your kids enjoy bingo as much as mine, it’s worth having a few other quick activities ready to rotate in.
Some days we play a few rounds of summer bingo, then switch to something like our summer I Spy printable or a summer scavenger hunt.
These kinds of low-prep, screen-free games are great for filling that awkward time after lunch or before dinner, especially when it’s too hot to be outside for long.
