An Easter memory game printable is one of my favorite “quiet wins” in the run-up to Easter.
Especially when kids are getting wiggly and you still want something screen-free that feels like a treat, not school.
This set is simple to prep (print, cut, play) and works well for home, classrooms, or a quick activity while you’re making dinner.
I’ve used matching games like this for years, and they’re sneaky-good for concentration, turn-taking, and visual memory, without anyone realizing they’re practicing skills.

How to Use This Easter Memory Game Printable
This Easter memory game printable includes 12 matching pairs (24 cards total) featuring bright seasonal images like bunnies, chicks, eggs, and baskets. It’s designed to be low-prep and flexible, whether you’re using it at home, in a preschool center, or for a small group activity.
Matching games like this are especially helpful for building visual memory, concentration, and turn-taking skills. When my son was younger, this was actually the first game he ever won on his own, and that little boost of confidence mattered more than I expected.
If you want to add a creative element, kids can color or decorate the card backs before playing.
Printing & Setup
Print two copies of the cards to create matching pairs. For best results, use cardstock to prevent see-through cards.
If you’re printing on regular paper, have children color the backs fully with crayons or markers so the images don’t show through. Cut along the lines and you’re ready to play.
Laminating is optional, but helpful if you plan to reuse the game in a classroom or homeschool setting.
How to Play
Lay all 24 cards face down in rows. A 6 × 4 layout works well for younger children, while spreading them further apart increases difficulty for older players.
Players take turns flipping over two cards:
- If the cards match, the player keeps the pair and takes another turn.
- If they don’t match, turn them face down again and the next player goes.
The game continues until all pairs are found. The player with the most matches wins.
Ways to Adjust Difficulty
For preschoolers: Use fewer pairs (start with 6–8). This reduces frustration and builds confidence.
Timed challenge: Set a 1–2 minute timer and see how many pairs one player can find.
Memory booster round: After removing matched pairs, reshuffle remaining cards to increase recall difficulty.
Collaborative play: Instead of competing, have players work together to find all pairs.
