Free Christmas Graphing Worksheets | Count & Color

These Christmas graphing worksheets have been a simple but fun way to keep math going in our homeschool during December.

My son always loves any activity that feels like a game, and turning counting and early data skills into something festive has helped him stay engaged, even on days when focus is hard to come by.

Each worksheet uses holiday images kids already love (like Santa, reindeer, and cozy winter scenes) and turns them into a low-prep math lesson that still feels playful.

Whether you’re teaching at home or in the classroom, these are an easy win when you want to mix learning with a bit of seasonal cheer.

Christmas Count and Graph Worksheets

These holiday count and graph worksheets have been one of our favorite ways to sneak in math during December.

They’re simple, low-prep, and surprisingly effective, especially with kids who need a little extra motivation when holiday excitement kicks in.

By combining counting, coloring, and graphing, these printables feel more like a game than a lesson. My son loved figuring out which image appeared the most, and I appreciated that it was helping build foundational math skills without any pushback.

Whether you’re using them in the classroom or at home, they’re a fun way to keep learning going during the festive season.

How We Use Them

To get started, scroll to the bottom of this post and grab your free printable Christmas graphing activities. They arrive by email, so keep an eye on your inbox (and your spam folder, just in case).

Print one sheet per child and set them up with crayons or markers.

We usually start by coloring all the matching images the same color, green for holly, red for Santa, etc. This helps with both color recognition and visual organization.

Next, the kids count how many of each image they see and fill in the graph. The scale only goes up to 5, which is just right for preschool and early elementary ages.

They can color in boxes or use Xs, whatever keeps them engaged.
