Free Halloween Spot the Difference Printable
Our Halloween spot the difference printable comes with two spooky picture puzzles that are just the right mix of tricky and fun.
Each sheet has seven hidden differences, plus space to color once the puzzle’s solved, my son always races to finish both.
We’ve used these at home and in small groups around Halloween, and they always get kids talking, thinking, and laughing.

Zombie-Themed Puzzle
The first printable features a goofy zombie holding a spooky drink. It’s full of small details that make it a fun challenge. If your kids need a hint, here are the seven differences:
- The spider in the top corner is missing from the second image.
- The olive is gone from the drink in the second picture.
- Only three bats appear in the second image’s top right corner.
- The second zombie doesn’t have a mole on its face.
- The pocket on the t-shirt is missing in the second image.
- The rat is facing the opposite direction.
- The zombie on the right has one extra toe in the second image.
Dracula-Themed Puzzle
The second sheet features a friendly Dracula with candy and bats all around. The differences are a bit sneakier:
- There are five bats in the first image but only four in the second.
- The first image has three stars, while the second has only two.
- The black cat on the right is missing in the second image.
- Dracula’s bowtie is missing its dots in the second picture.
- One of the buttons in the first image is a spider, but it’s not in the second.
- An extra piece of candy appears in the first image.
- The shoelaces in the first image are longer than in the second.

Benefits of Spot the Difference Worksheets
These printable puzzles are more than just Halloween fun, they quietly build real skills too:
- Visual focus and attention to detail: Kids learn to slow down and notice subtle changes between images.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking: Each difference is like a mini challenge that requires logic and reasoning.
- Memory and pattern recognition: Kids remember shapes, colors, and positions as they compare both versions.
- Fine motor and hand-eye coordination: Whether circling differences or coloring the pages, they’re practicing control.
- Creativity: Once they’ve found all seven differences, the coloring becomes a chance to personalize the scene.
These activities work well as a screen-free break that still feels productive, great for classrooms, rainy afternoons, or just some quiet downtime.
