Free Roald Dahl Bookmarks To Color
Roald Dahl bookmarks are one of our favorite ways to make reading time more fun, especially around Roald Dahl Day in September.
My son always chooses the BFG first (he’s fascinated by dream jars), and coloring the characters gives him a way to connect with the stories beyond just the words.
These free printable bookmarks are a simple, creative activity for kids who love Roald Dahl’s books, and they make great keepsakes too.
Whether you’re using them in the classroom or at home, they’re a fun way to encourage reading and imagination.

Roald Dahl Printable Bookmarks
These Roald Dahl bookmarks are a fun, creative way for kids to stay connected to their favorite stories.
Inspired by beloved characters from books like Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The BFG, they’re perfect for quiet reading time, classroom activities, or party favors.
We like to print them on white cardstock and laminate them so they last a bit longer, especially if they’re going into backpacks or book bins.
Each page includes three bookmarks (2.5 x 8.5 inches), and they print well on both letter and A4 paper. If you’re using A4, just select “shrink to fit” in your printer settings.
Once printed, let the kids grab some crayons or markers and color in the characters however they like. My son always adds freckles to Matilda, it’s his signature move.
These bookmarks are free for personal or classroom use. Just scroll to the bottom of the post, add your email, and the PDF will be sent to you instantly.
