Scavenger hunts are so much fun, we loved them when the kids were really little. But even now my son is in middle school he and his friends have so much with them.

Now to be fair it is now a competition to see who wins first for bragging rights, but it’s totally worth it.

Scavenger Hunt at the Zoo

This free printable zoo scavenger hunt is a great way to have fun the next time you are at the zoo.

There are 2 different scavenger hunts that will download, that can be used with multiple children of different ages.

How to use the zoo scavenger hunt printables

Download the fun animal scavenger hunt below. There are 2 pages included and they will print out in portrait. Make sure to check the printer settings.

All you need for this fun hunt is a storage clipboard. This is the one we use, as we love the fact you can store all your activities and pens in it. And a pencil.

The second zoo scavenger hunt is slightly different. This is best with older kids.

There are 15 animals to find but this time, there are no pictures, today I saw an animal…..

The kids can either write what animal they saw or even better take a photo.
