75 Fun Summer Bucket List Ideas for Teens
This summer bucket list for teens came out of years of trial and error with my own teen, some ideas were total wins, others flopped hard (turns out not every 14 year old wants to make friendship bracelets).
But what stuck were the activities that felt low-pressure, a little adventurous, and gave him something to talk about after.
Whether your teen’s into trying new things or just looking for ways to beat the summer slump, these 75 ideas are a mix of fun, freedom, and stuff they might actually want to do.

How to Use This Summer Bucket List for Teens
Don’t feel like you need to complete all 75 ideas. Let your teen pick 10–15 activities that genuinely sound fun and use them as a starting point for the summer.
We usually try to include a mix of free activities, time with friends, and at least one thing we’ve never done before. That’s where the best memories tend to come from.
Fun Summer Activities for Teens
Summer always feels like it should last forever, until the “I’m bored” comments start around day three.
This summer bucket list for teens is packed with ideas we’ve enjoyed over the years, along with activities I’d happily suggest to any parent looking for ways to get their teenager out of the house, trying something new, or spending time with friends.
From kayaking and road trips to escape rooms and backyard movie nights, these ideas are meant to be fun, realistic, and easy to adapt based on your teen’s interests and budget.
