Free Halloween Graphing Worksheet (Color, Count & Graph)
Our Halloween graphing worksheet was a fun way to sneak in a little math practice while still enjoying the holiday excitement.
My son always loved activities that felt more like games than lessons, and this simple printable gave him the chance to color, count, and build early graphing skills all at once.
Designed with preschool, kindergarten, and early first grade in mind, this Halloween-themed worksheet includes four spooky images to count and graph, perfect for kids just learning to compare quantities and read simple bar graphs.

Halloween Bar Graph Worksheet
Make math more fun this October with Halloween graphing worksheets that combine counting, coloring, and early data skills.
This free printable is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, and early first grade. Just scroll to the bottom of the post, enter your email, and the PDF will be sent straight to your inbox (check spam just in case). It’s free for personal or classroom use.
To use the Halloween math worksheet, give each child a copy and some crayons. They’ll start by coloring each type of image, whether it’s a haunted house, cats, skeletons, or witches, all the same color.
Once everything is colored, have them count how many of each image appears and graph the results. Kids can mark the totals with an X or color in each square of the bar graph for a more visual finish.
Wrap up with a quick discussion: Which image appeared the most? Which was the least? It’s a simple way to build early math skills in a festive way.
And if your kids enjoy this, they might also love our free Halloween color by number worksheets for even more spooky math fun.
Halloween Math Books for Preschoolers
After finishing the Halloween count and graph worksheet, we like to wind down with a fun Halloween-themed counting book. These stories have been favorites in our house and tie in perfectly with early math skills:
- Ten Timid Ghosts has always been a hit. The story of ten ghosts being slowly outwitted by a sneaky witch is just spooky enough to be fun, and it’s great for practicing counting backwards without feeling like a lesson.
- Ten Little Jack O Lanterns is a bright, cheerful book that’s perfect for preschoolers. The rhythm is catchy, and the Halloween activities the pumpkins get up to always make my son smile.
- Pete the Cat: Five Little Pumpkins brings the familiar rhyme to life with Pete’s laid-back personality. It’s simple, short, and always fun to read aloud, especially if your child already loves Pete the Cat.
