Christmas Handprint Snow Globe Printable

Making a handprint snow globe has become one of those sweet holiday crafts we do every year.

It started as a simple preschool activity, but now it’s a keepsake I love pulling out each December.

It’s quick to prep, fun for little hands, and the kind of project that actually feels special, especially when you look back at those tiny handprints a year or two later.

Whether you’re planning a classroom craft, a homeschool activity, or just something festive to do on a cold afternoon, this printable makes it easy to create a memory worth saving.

Creating a handprint snow globe is one of those crafts that feels just as meaningful as it is easy.

We’ve done this every December for years, and it always ends up being a favorite, simple supplies, minimal mess, and a keepsake you’ll want to save.

Supplies needed:

How to Make Your Snow Globe Craft

This free printable snow globe template is for personal or classroom use and can be found at the bottom of this post.

Uncolored handprint snow globe template on white paper, surrounded by Crayola crayons, red and green paint pots, and a paintbrush.

Cardstock gives the best results, especially if you’re saving it long-term, but printer paper works in a pinch.

Let the kids pick their paint colors, mine chose grey for a snow castle look, but blue or green could work just as well.

Use a brush to paint their hand, then help them press it onto the globe with fingers pointing upward.

Make sure they press firmly, then slowly lift their hand to keep the print clean. Let the paint dry before adding extra details to the scene, like snow drifts, castle flags, or stars.
