Our Christmas word search printable has become a yearly tradition in our house.

We usually print out a few copies, put on some music, and turn it into a lighthearted race, winner gets a chocolate coin or candy cane.

It’s quick to set up, surprisingly calming, and one of those rare activities that feels like fun but still sneaks in a little learning.

It’s great for building vocabulary, encouraging focus, and giving kids a screen-free break during the December chaos.

This holiday word search is a little trickier than it looks, words are hidden in every direction, including diagonally and backward, which keeps it fun for older kids too.

Tip: We like to circle the words instead of crossing them out, since some letters are shared. Highlighters or colored pencils work great for this!
