Handprint Art for Fall

Looking for a simple, meaningful craft? Fall handprint art is a great way to enjoy the season while making something special with your kids.

These easy projects double as keepsakes and decorations, and you likely already have everything you need at home.

We always keep a stack of handprint craft ideas ready for rainy afternoons, and these autumn versions are some of our favorites.

What you’ll need:

A childs hand with yellow paint on with an open yellow paint pot and a paintbrush with yellow paint on.

How to Use the Free Templates

Print the two fall handprint templates included below, they’re sized for 8.5” x 11” paper and work best in portrait orientation.

You can use regular paper, but cardstock gives a cleaner finish and holds the paint better.

Let your child press their painted handprint onto the design, let it dry, and you’ve got an easy autumn craft that also works as a keepsake or gift.
