12 Best Christmas Books About Elves To Read With The Kids
We absolutely love Christmas, especially when the Elf on the Shelf comes to stay in December. So I wanted to put together our favorite Christmas books about elves that the kids will love.
These books are perfect for Christmas activities for kids, allowing them to explore the mischievous and helpful adventures of elves while enjoying the festive season.
The Elf on the Shelf is an important part of our Christmas, even more so now he knows they are not real (well they are of course, just not the ones that come to our house!).
These books about elves are not just great for the kids, you are going to love them too! Most of them are Christmas elves, but the last 2 are classic books about elves that can be enjoyed year-round.

Christmas Books With Elves In
The first 4 books about elves are from the Elf on the Shelf, and are excellent if you have the elf pay you a visit in December.
The Elf on the Shelf Book is the original story and comes with the actual elf. No matter how old the kids get they will love this book, and it will very quickly become a family favorite.
Elf on The Shelf Scout Elf Express Delivers: Letters to Santa is a wonderful book and comes with letters to Santa for your child to complete. These will be gorgeous keepsakes too.
Elf on The Shelf Night Before Christmas Book is the best Christmas Eve book we have ever read.
Elf on the Shelf Pets comes with a St Bernard plush dog. It is absolutely gorgeous, and if you are strict with the no touch elf rule this is a great way for the kids to cuddle their new toy.
How to Catch an Elf is a hilarious book on an elf being loose in your house.
The Littlest Elf is a book about Oliver the smallest elf in the North Pole.
