What Kids Learn from Word Searches
We’ve used word searches a lot in our homeschool because they’re an easy way to reinforce spelling and vocabulary without adding another formal lesson.
They can also help with word recognition, concentration, and reviewing new vocabulary. I especially like using them at the end of a topic, when the words are already familiar and the puzzle becomes a quick recap.
Which word searches do your kids enjoy the most? Let me know in the comments! If there’s a theme or topic you’d love to see, I’d be happy to add it to the collection.

Hello Clare. I appreciate the resources on your website, but I find it frustrating that each time I want to download a PDF, I am required to provide my Gmail address for every free printable. I already receive your emails, so I believe it shouldn’t be necessary to input my Gmail for each download. Please provide a more streamlined way to access these printables. Thank you.?
Hi Christine, I completely understand the frustration. The sign-up box is the easiest way I can offer these printables for free, since it lets me keep everything organized and cover the costs of running the site.
If you’d prefer a more streamlined option without ads or repeated sign-ups, our printable library gives you instant access to all of the printables in one place. That way you can download whenever you like, no extra steps needed.
